Rows of wild violets,

planted by aliens visiting my body,

push upwards through my throat,

tangling inside my sinuses and ear canals

till I can no longer breathe nor hear,

only watch as my hands

claw away my skin

to reveal a skeleton without a name

barely held together by

wilting purple petals and their dying stems
